GHS 203’s 50th Reunion

Dear Friends:
I put this BLOG together to thank you all for one of the most remarkable weekends I can remember.  54 years ago I found refuge (uncomfortable as it was at times) in a remarkable institution with even more remarkable girls. We came of age in this school as society birthed critical new movements that would change our lives and our world forever.  During this weekend I fell in love again with the women we have all become.  Ruth Needleman scripted a petition calling us to support all of the generations of women fighting back against the War on Women; most of you signed this.  I found that so many of us have worked all of our lives, and continue to do so, for peace and social justice.  After 50 years I made new friends of women I should have known and never did during my four years at GHS.

I took as many pictures as I could.  I hope you find yourself in them.  I am sorry if I missed you. I apologize for the poor quality of many.  If you are not here, please send me your pictures so that I can add you to the event. Please send me any and all pictures to post.  I did not label the pictures.  My aging brain cannot make all of the connections needed for the identity of some, so I chose not to identify any.  This will be your job.  Please label these photos for me so we can share your identities with all.

As the group photos come in I will scan and post them for you.  If you have comments to make, please post them.  If you cannot figure out how to post your comments and pictures, email them to me at JClay6@aol.com.  I will post them for you.  If you subscribe to this blog, each time a new post or picture appears, you will be notified. Subscribing is free.

Thank you all for being you and making this a weekend to remember.
